Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a love for creating delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking pizzas to perfection, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare fresh ingredients for pizza making, including dough, sauces, and toppings. Cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality standards are met. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines. Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Skills

Experience in the food service or food industry is preferred, with a focus on pizza cooking or similar roles. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that satisfy customer expectations. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and cutting tools is beneficial.
