Wanted: Part-Time Pizza Delivery Driver/Food Counter Attendant

IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE APPLYING: Delivery driver is expected to help out in performing restaurant duties when there are no deliveries.

Hours:

0-20 hours a week, Monday to Saturday availability, daytime. Must be available to work as early as 9:00am until 2:00 pm.

Education:

Some high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

Class 5 Driver's License

Experience:

Delivery driver experience required

Weight Handling:

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills:

Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Collect or make payments for goods, Load and unload goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use maps and other trip planning aids, Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle

Additional Skills:

Professionalism in customer service, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Prepare, package and restock goods

Food Counter Attendant Duties:

Take customers' orders Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances Use oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as pizzas, salads and other beverages Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on boxes for service to patrons, and package take-out food Serve customers at counters or tables Stock refrigerators, freezers and prep tables and keep records of the quantities of food used May receive payment for food items purchased Wash and peel vegetables and fruit Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances Remove trash and clean garbage containers Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to assist other staffs Clear and clean tables in eating establishments Bring clean dishes and other items to serving areas Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes and running errands Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand Place dishes in storage area Scour pots and pans Any other duties as required and requested by Restaurant Manager, Area Supervisor and/or VP of Operations

Valid driver's license, Delivery vehicle provided by employer but you should have your own vehicle as well as back-up for deliveries (gas allowance is provided if you will use your own vehicle)
