Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care within a community pharmacy setting. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, educating patients and healthcare professionals, and collaborating with other medical staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Duties

Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. Prepare and dispense medications, Provide patient care by counseling on medication administration, potential side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients, Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient profiles. Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed under the guidance of medical staff. Educate patients and caregivers on medication management and health promotion strategies. Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications

Active pharmacist license in Ontario Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week
