We are looking for a Part Time Associate for our Coquitlam location who Loves animals and truly understands the how peoples furry companions fit into our customers homes and lives.

Our part time hours range from 4-20 hours per week. We are looking for individuals who are available during the day/mornings as well as some evenings/weekends.

Our rate of pay is competitive in the pet industry.

Some of the tasks include customer service, cleaning, putting stock away, transactions through the till. Applicants must be able to lift 40lbs on a regular basis, to help customers and for putting away stock

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the products and services offered
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of merchandise

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Previous experience in technical sales or retail sales is preferred
- Ability to upsell and promote products effectively
- Proficient in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries
