About Us:

Sphinx Healing Services is a trauma-informed group care program dedicated to supporting high-risk Indigenous youth aged 0-18. We provide culturally responsive care to children and youth who have experienced complex challenges such as addiction, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and other behavioral, developmental, and emotional needs.

Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time On-Site Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The therapist will provide direct, in-person therapeutic support to youth in care, assist in developing individualized care plans, and collaborate with staff to create a healing, culturally grounded environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive individual therapy sessions for youth Complete assessments and contribute to treatment and case planning Support staff with crisis intervention strategies and therapeutic tools Maintain accurate and confidential client records Collaborate with internal team and external professionals as needed Participate in case conferences and program development as appropriate

Skills

Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related field Registered and in good standing with appropriate provincial regulatory body (e.g., RSW, RPsych, RCC, etc.) Experience working with Indigenous communities and knowledge of Indigenous cultures, history, and healing practices Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or therapeutic settings, preferably with youth and trauma Strong understanding of complex needs including FASD, ODD, and addiction Valid driver's license and ability to travel to site if needed

Pay: $29.50-$60.00 per hour
