Job Overview:

Halenda's Fine Foods Limited is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing operations of our food processing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electro-mechanical repair and maintenance of food processing and support equipment. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, a proactive maintenance approach, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electro-mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing and auxiliary equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with minimal disruption to production.

Implement corrective actions to resolve equipment malfunctions and prevent recurrence.

Ensure all equipment is cleaned, lubricated, and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and parts used.

Adhere to company and industry safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety.

Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, preferably within the food processing industry. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in executing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Possession of a valid 433A Millwright or 442A Industrial Electrician license (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
