Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization through effective cleaning and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions as needed. Conduct periodic deep cleaning of assigned areas as per schedule or request. Assist with minor maintenance tasks to support facilities upkeep. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a commercial setting. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively. Good communication skills to interact with staff and management regarding cleaning needs or issues. Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
