Little Kitchen Academy Vancouver Fraser is looking for Seasonal Winter Break Instructors who are kind, enthusiastic, have a passion for nutrition, love working with children, and feel comfortable in the kitchen. Morning, afternoon, and evening positions are available.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.

We are currently hiring 1-2 Instructors for our Winter Break Camps that runs from: December 20 - January 5. You must be available to work for the full Winter Break as well as to start training Mid November. *We are closed on Christmas & New Years Day and classes on Christmas Eve & New Years Eve will end at 4:30pm (at the latest).

Instructors need to have or be open to obtaining current food handling certification (FoodSafe) criminal record check, and First Aid/CPR/AED Training.

LKA is a VERY fast paced environment and job entails being on your feet for 4 hours or more and will include some heavy lifting.

Job duties include but but not limited to teaching life skills and food literacy while teaching recipe of the day to students ages 3-18.

Provide support to students and lead instructor during class.

Opening / closing duties including but not limited to cleaning the environment & dishes, receiving and putting away supplies, keeping the environment clean and organized.

Experience with working with children is a MUST.

Cooking / Kitchen experience is a MUST.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
