We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel interior and exterior.
You will report directly to the Housekeeping manager and supervisors for the day -day operation. Your main responsibility will be to maintain the hotel's facilities and grounds and ensure that our guests experience a clean and well maintained atmosphere. You will also perform any other tasks requested from time to time by management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining the cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, meeting rooms, restrooms, and other common spaces.
Maintain the cleanliness of the building exterior
Trash removal from all common areas, executive offices, pool, fitness center, guest room corridors, Meeting rooms, Building exterior.
Restocking supplies like toiletries, towels, and other housekeeping supplies in all housekeeping storage rooms
Setting up for events and cleaning up after events, including arranging furniture and ensuring meeting rooms are tidy and ready for use.
Assist with deep cleaning projects
Identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair issues to management.
Responding to guest requests for items like extra towels, cribs, or other amenities, and assisting guests with luggage.
Vacuuming carpets and hallways, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and polishing furniture in public areas.
Assisting the housekeeping team as needed, collecting and delivering linens to the laundry, and helping with other tasks in various hotel departments.
The above areas of responsibility are not all-inclusive and may be amended from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
The role requires being able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and physically able to lift heavy objects
Must exercise independent judgment and show initiative with little or no supervision
Must be a team player and willing to learn
Needed to ensure timely completion of duties, follow safety procedures, and maintain a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse team environment
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment with co-workers, managers, and guests
The ability to work effectively with other housekeepers, front desk staff, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Available to work any shift (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
