Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Sterling House is a 130 resident Assisted Living Facility located in Linden Woods, Winnipeg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and welcoming. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks in assigned areas, following a schedule, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors while using appropriate cleaning and sanitation procedures. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Must be able to understand and accurately follow verbal and written instructions in English Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player. Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per year
