An exciting opportunity to join the front office team at one of the busiest and best-loved hotels in London! Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Holiday Inn & Suites, London is recruiting for an organized, professional and outgoing individual to join us as a Front Desk Agent. Hotel Front Desk experience preferred. Some customer service experience required. Availability to work varied shifts is a must (Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays).

Job Duties:

Provide exceptional customer service by going the extra mile for our guests Answer main phone line and transfer calls to the appropriate department Typical concierge duties such as giving directions Check guests in/out of hotel Convert reservations via phone and email Accurate billing of individual accounts Respond to guest inquiries and requests, with diligent follow up procedures Handle escalated guest issues Enroll new members into the IHG Reward club loyalty program Cash handling Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Front-facing customer service experience required Post secondary education in Tourism/Hospitality programs or equivalent hospitality experience an asset, but not required Excellent customer service skills and manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy Able to work supervised or unsupervised Team player Knowledge of Opera PMS is prefered Availability to work varied shifts is a must (Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays)
