Position Overview:



The Explorer Hotel is seeking a motivated and reliable Part-Time Seasonal Groundskeeper to join our team for the winter/spring season. This role is primarily focused on snow removal and ensuring safe, clean outdoor spaces for guests and tenants. The position involves working across two properties with hours as required, prioritizing early morning snow removal for accessibility. Additional duties include garbage cleanup, de-icing, and adherence to safety procedures.



Key Responsibilities:



Perform snow removal and de-icing to maintain safe walkways and access points. Clean outdoor areas, including garbage pickup, cigarette butt removal, and general tidying. Support joint property efforts for snow removal and outdoor maintenance. Follow all safety protocols and maintain organized work areas.

Job Requirements:



Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in cold outdoor conditions. Previous experience in groundskeeping, snow removal, or outdoor maintenance is an asset. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to adjust hours based on weather and operational needs

Compensation:



$19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience. Paid bi-weekly.



Seasonal Term:



Position runs until the end of April 2026.
