Company Overview
We are a leading company in the realm of paper printing and lithographic card printing, serving major B2B clients across the nation (and into the continental United States). As we grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Manager and Accountant to ensure the financial efficiency and transparency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Oversight: Review and validate financial postings for both client and purchaser invoices.

2. Tax Calculations and Payments: Expertly handle GST/HST tax and payroll tax calculations and payments, either directly through our CRA Account via Represent a Client, or through RBC\xe2\x80\x99s integrated Tax Management service..

3. External Business Interface: Collaborate with external accounting and legal firms to maintain consistent and accurate financial representations.

4. Documentation Integrity: Preserve the robustness and reliability of all financial documents.

5. Year-End Reporting: If capable, lead the effort in compiling and submitting data required for End-of-Year financial statements, including but not limited to T2s, Employee T4s, and other tax assessment forms specific to private incorporated Canadian companies. Interfacing with external accounting firms for specific submissions if necessary.

6. Optional WSIB Reporting: Experience in quarterly WSIB premium reporting and payment is not necessary, but is deemed an asset.

Requirements

  • Skill in Sage 50 Pro Accounting is a must. Plans exist to transfer existing data to Quickbooks by EoY. But the transfer necessitates the earlier skill.
  • Skill with or a willingness to learn RBC Express and RBC Tax Management services.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certifications not necessary, but deemed an asset).
  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be available for in-person visits to the office at least twice a month. Availability during emergencies is a significant asset.
  • Skill high-volume industrial manufacturing settings deemed an asset.
