- Who we are looking for to join the team:



We are seeking a Self-Storage Facility Coordinator to work at our Port Coquitlam facility and to become a part of our team! You will report directly to the Facility Manager and your role will be to help with customer service, administration, facility, and yard maintenance. The ideal candidate has excellent computer, communication and organizational skills that will help maintain and grow our business. It is important that the property is kept in good order, this includes snow removal in winter and landscaping in the summer. Walking the site daily to ensure that the buildings, customer property and facilities are in working order and monitored. You will need to be comfortable working alone on the site, taking the initiative to repair, maintain and coordinate trades to keep the operations running smoothly. The Port Coquitlam facility offers traditional climate-controlled self-storage, Penske truck rental and is a Purolator drop off depot.

Role & Responsibilities:



Customer Service, Sales & Administration:



Maintain and build positive customer service with clients, vendors, and service providers. Answer the phones, emails, and customer enquiries professionally and courteously. Follow up with clients as needed and direct them to the appropriate department if necessary. Accounts Receivable, collections and invoicing. Taking payment from clients and helping with onsite access. Be creative in supporting customers with their storage and moving solutions. Moving in and out schedules for storage units, cleaning and maintaining units between clients. Looking for ways to engage with the community to promote and grow business.

Property Maintenance:



Routinely inspect the entire facility for cleanliness, security breaches and maintenance requirements for the yard. Overseeing seasonal landscaping including snow removal, lawn maintenance and driveway maintenance. Follow safety and company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Proficient with computers and systems, MS Office, Teams, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Outstanding Customer Service, building rapport with business partners, vendors and clients. Property maintenance experience is considered an asset. Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work requirements. Optimistic and positive attitude.

Schedule:



This is Part-time position has the possibility to become Full-time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
