About Kid2Kid

Kid2Kid is a not-for-profit organization founded in the Toronto Beaches community by two moms who wanted their children to experience the joy of helping others firsthand. Since 2019, we've been on a mission to empower kids to spread kindness through hands-on volunteer projects that directly support children in need.

Our signature initiatives, Got Your Back (back-to-school backpacks) and Winter Totes (winter care packages), invite families to take action together and support youth in need. We also host an annual Kids' Marketplace, our main fundraiser, featuring kid vendors, a silent auction, live music, BBQ, and more.

About the Role

Kid2Kid is looking for a passionate, organized, and community-minded Event Coordinator to help us bring the 2026 Kids' Marketplace to life. If you're someone who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven team, and loves seeing kids light up while making a difference, this part-time role is for you.

You'll work closely with our leadership committee to support event planning, sponsorship coordination, and community outreach. Training is provided - agility and enthusiasm matter most!

What You'll Do

Annual kids' marketplace coordination and assist with the silent auction

Research and connect with potential sponsors

Track donations and manage logos for our website

Help coordinate the pickup and organization of silent auction items

Assist with event setup, and on-site logistics

Support social media promotion and community outreach

Help organize event details (BBQ, entertainment, signage, materials)

Work with our team on marketing, printing, and promotional tasks

Post-event wrap-up

Contact auction winners and help manage payment/pickup

Other Opportunities: support our Got Your Back and Winter Tote initiatives (materials shopping, logistics, etc.)

What We're Looking For

A kind, reliable, and organized team player

Access to a computer and familiarity with Google Docs

Comfortable juggling a mix of administrative, creative, and hands-on tasks

Flexible availability (hours increase closer to event dates), especially between February and June

Passion for community, kids, and giving back

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
