Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized workflow during busy service periods.
Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the kitchen manager promptly.
Experience
Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service practices is a plus.
Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards is beneficial.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
