We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and promoting oral health education. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix software. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Provide support in orthodontic procedures and pediatric dental care when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of orthodontics being a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication is essential for patient interaction. Background in dental assisting can enhance the ability to support the team effectively. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is advantageous.

Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
