Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a

Part-Time Cook and Store Attendant

. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the food industry, eager to develop their skills, and committed to delivering exceptional service. The position provides hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and customer service within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Candidates should be motivated to contribute to a positive dining experience and uphold our high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble menu items, including pizza, following established recipes and presentation standards. Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring satisfaction. Assist in food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations. Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality control. Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy periods. Assist in inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying management of shortages.

Skills & Qualifications

Food Preparation & Safety

Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly. Understanding of food handling procedures and safety protocols. Ability to cook various dishes with attention to detail and quality standards.

Customer Service & Communication

Experience in serving or food service roles preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to the team environment.

POS & Cash Handling

Experience with POS systems, including processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions. Knowledge of opening and closing procedures for tills and cash reconciliation.
