Overview:

Linterra Concrete is seeking a skilled Class 1 or Class 3 driver to join our Concrete Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to operate concrete mixer trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to various job sites. Experience in handling mixer truck configurations is essential. As a Mixer Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the transportation of concrete materials, contributing to the success of our construction projects and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

Safely operate concrete mixer trucks to transport and deliver concrete to designated locations. Load and unload concrete materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns. Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle. Manage slump levels and ensure the quality of concrete during transportation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

Skills:

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating concrete mixer trucks. Excellent communication skills. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading materials. Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle repairs or troubleshooting.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
