Description:

Our Part-time Coding and Robotics teacher will be responsible for instructing small group classes to students ranging from Grade 3 to Grade 12. The incumbent will develop and deliver engaging lessons that introduce young students to coding fundamentals, robotics, and computational thinking. The ideal candidate will foster a fun, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, collaboration, and a love of technology.

Responsibilities:

Design and teach age-appropriate coding and robotics lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. Incorporate tools such as Scratch, LEGO Education, or similar platforms. Guide students through hands-on projects, challenges, and team-based activities. Maintain a safe and organized learning space and care for classroom technology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Teaching experience with elementary-aged children preferred. Strong understanding of coding languages suitable for beginners (e.g., Scratch, Blockly, Python basics). Experience with educational robotics kits (e.g., LEGO Spike) Excellent classroom management and communication skills Passion for STEM education and inspiring young learners.
