Duties

Provide therapeutic treatment and management plans for patients in accordance with the chiropodist's scope of practice:

Foot care services

Biomechanical assessment and gait analysis for orthotics and orthopedic footwear

Injections and nail avulsion surgery

Specialty services such as Foot Mobilization Therapy, Swift Microwave Therapy, Onyfix Nail Bracing System (will train)
Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining up to date patient records, preparing paperwork for insurance companies (ie. Orthotics, Shoes, Bunion Splints)

Sanitize patient area in between patients

Requirements

Have valid registration and be in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO) as well as with insurance companies

Have own professional liability insurance

Able to work independently

Friendly, punctual, and responsible

Ability to speak an additional language is an asset

Will provide training for specialty services

Commission Split 60/40
