Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will be responsible for processing transactions accurately while ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases. Process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and merchandise displays. Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure products are well presented and stocked. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism. Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and improve overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Must be 19+ years of age

Must have "Serving it Right" certificate

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with technology sales, including product demos and technical sales, is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone.

Ability to work flexible hours
