Sparkle Cannabis Company opened its 1st store in Hamilton, ON and we're looking to expand the team! The store is located just steps away from Juravinski Hospital!

Our mission is to eliminate the stigma of cannabis while educating new and experienced users. Our pricing model is designed to give our customers excellent value for the products they enjoy.

Responsibilities

Always greet customers when they come into the store. Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them on responsible cannabis use Manage Point of Sale (POS) Terminal (Greenline POS experience considered an asset) Help Store/Assistant Managers open and close at the beginning or end of shifts following company and provincial/federal guidelines. Report any suspicious behaviors or abusive customers to Store/Assistant Managers. General housekeeping of store spaces (vacuum/sweep sales floor area, wipe down counters & glass display cabinets, etc.). Promptly ID all customers who look under the age of 25 years, as required by Cannabis Retail Store Handbook. Abide by all company policies and procedures as directed by the Store/Assistant Managers. Available to work any shift between 8:45 am to 11:15 pm Monday to Sunday. Create an educational and informative experience for all customers, regardless of their experience with cannabis.

Qualifications

Must be 19+ (No Exceptions) Cansell Standard Certification Desire and ability to develop a positive in-depth understanding of cannabis. Police Check within the last 6 months. Able to lift boxes 5-40lbs Team player Able to compute basic mathematical problems. Available to work Monday to Sunday 8:45 am until 11:15 pm. Familiarity with the Burlington community is considered an asset Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with computers & iPads.
