The Opportunity
The Budtender will help provide our customers with a superior experience through information, exceptional service and the highest quality cannabis. This position is responsible for all sales activity, remaining knowledgeable on products, assessing customer needs, helping, and maintaining sales floor presentations and stock.
Responsibilities
xc2xb7 Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store
xc2xb7 Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns
xc2xb7 Staying up to date on offers and specials
xc2xb7 Responding to member inquiries with comprehensive knowledge and accuracy
xc2xb7 Receiving and documenting inventory accurately
xc2xb7 Processing and filing member paperwork with all provided information
xc2xb7 Maintaining sales goals on a daily and weekly basis
xc2xb7 Closing and completing all end of day reports and procedures
xc2xb7 Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19, by reviewing government issued photo identification to validate permission to enter
xc2xb7 Foster a sense of teamwork will all team members
xc2xb7 Adhere to and uphold our Loss Prevention policies and procedures
xc2xb7 Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances.
xc2xb7 Greet all guests promptly
xc2xb7 Clearly and articulately provide information to guests in an engaging manner
xc2xb7 Know all safety and security protocols, should they be needed
xc2xb7 Ensure store is clean and tidy
xc2xb7 Other duties as assigned
Experience
xc2xb7 Previous retail or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience preferred
xc2xb7 Be at least 19 years of age
xc2xb7 Polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills
xc2xb7 Works well with others, alone and with little supervision
xc2xb7 Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis plants, strains and products
xc2xb7 Strong attention to detail
xc2xb7 Positive attitude and charisma
xc2xb7 Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm
xc2xb7 Energetic and highly determined
xc2xb7 Working knowledge of Retail Cannabis an asset
xc2xb7 Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier)
xc2xb7 Comfortable working variable shifts, including evenings and weekends
xc2xb7 Comfortable lifting and unpacking boxes that may weigh 5-30 lbs
xc2xb7 Bonus points if youve worked in a regulated environment before
