Overview

MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY BETWEEN 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your role is crucial in creating memorable experiences that keep our patrons coming back.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders and transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with patrons. Familiarity with the food industry, including food preparation and safety practices. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus but can be learned on the job. Pay: From $15.80 per hour
