We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Part-Time Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our well-established construction office in Pickering. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, as well as have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to a streamlined accounting process.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using QuickBooks Desktop Pro
- Enter and pay bills, credit card statements, and process invoices
- Prepare and submit government remittances, including HST returns, Payroll Deductions, and WSIB premiums
- Reconcile bank accounts, process T4s and ROEs, and perform day-to-day office duties
Important Notes:
- This is
NOT
a remote position. Candidates must be able to work in-person at our Pickering office.
- A suitable schedule will be arranged in consultation with the successful candidate. Upon completion of training, the position will typically require 7 to 14 hours per week, scheduled over 1 to 2 days.
