Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

This Part-Time Academic will be fully responsible for the teaching and grading of one section of

MUSC

4367/5367.03 Topics in Musicology II (Early Ballet, Dance, and Gesture, 1600-1800)

, from

January 1 to April 30, 2026

The candidate will work closely with teaching staff in the musicology area to coordinate curriculum requirements. The instructor is required to provide a Method of Assessment. This position reports to the Director of the Fountain School of Performing Arts.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

A completed PhD in Musicology is required; as well as teaching experience at the university leveland evidence of teaching effectiveness (formal course evaluations). Please apply online, with a copy of your curriculum vitae and a cover letter.
