Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
In consultation with the class coordinator, the laboratory instructor will be responsible for the development and the in-person teaching of the laboratory component of the BIOL 3050.03 course during the Fall 2023 term. They will coordinate class TA\xe2\x80\x99s and technicians and the general administration (handling student issues, supervising TA\xe2\x80\x99s, submitting grades, invigilating exam and tests, etc.). The position reports to the Chair of the Department.


Qualifications/Requirements of Position
The applicants will have an advanced degree in biology and previous, recent laboratory teaching experience in the related discipline. Applications should include a cover letter, up-to-date C.V., and first-time applicants to the Department of Biology must provide the names of two references.


Salary Range/Pay Rate
Per CUPE Collective Agreement
