Parts Person
to support our growing operations.
Position Overview
The
Parts Person
will be responsible for managing, organizing, and supplying parts and inventory to support our service, manufacturing, and customer needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts and materials.
Pick, prepare, and issue parts for service technicians and production staff.
Assist customers and suppliers with parts inquiries, orders, and returns.
Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and track stock levels.
Source and order parts as required, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
Process shipping and receiving documentation.
Keep the parts area clean, organized, and safe.
Collaborate with service and manufacturing teams to ensure parts availability.
Support continuous improvement of parts and inventory processes.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Parts Person or in a similar role (automotive, heavy-duty, or industrial preferred).
Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, tankers, or related equipment is an asset.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/shop environment.
Valid driver's license required.
