Answer Trailer Rentals & Sales is looking to add an experienced Heavy Duty Parts Technician. We are a well-known business located in Spruce Grove. Our company is continuously growing and expanding and now it is time to add to our team.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the candidate will assist with parts identification, purchasing and support for the growing parts department. This role can include both front counter and back counter parts roles. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Perform identification for heavy duty truck and trailer parts

- Source parts from multiple vendors using online portals, email and over the phone

- Issues purchase orders for emergency part requirements

- Assist internal mechanic team with all parts requests

- Bill out parts to work orders or sales invoices as required

- Interact with external customers to solve their parts needs

- Create parts quote for both internal and external customers

- Cycle counting and annual physical inventory counting

- Warehouse organization

- Assist with core and returns tracking

Required Qualifications :

- Heavy Duty - trailer parts experience - 2 year

- Heavy Duty - truck parts experience

- Parts Journeyman ticket an asset

- Highway Trailer and Off-Road Trailer parts experience

- Positive attitude and team player

- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving ability

- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs

- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding duties

- Safety contentious
