Parts Technician Collicutt Energy Services Corp, a leader in power generation and all things engines, is currently seeking a Parts Technician to join our team in Red Deer. We are looking for someone who is ready for the opportunity to grow with the company and challenge themselves to help our customers succeed. Requirements
  • 3 years industry experience in power generation or frac related service
  • Experience in a parts distribution role within a manufacturing, oilfield, or service environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience with CAT, MTU, Scania or Waukesha equipment including aftermarket parts
  • Engine/transmission overhaul or manufacturing experience would be considered an asset
  • Able to work successfully in a high paced environment and as part of a team
  • Analytical and technical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management, and the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing, ready, and able to perform labour-oriented tasks including bending and lifting
  • 3 years industry experience in power generation or frac related service
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable, and professional manner
  • Develop relationships with vendors to ensure the best procurement practices
  • Strive to always \xe2\x80\x9cFind a Better Way\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Creating quotes and pursuing parts sales
  • Always carry a \xe2\x80\x9cNo One Gets Hurt\xe2\x80\x9d mindset
  • Collaborate daily with people and seek innovative solutions
  • Address issues with certainty, assertiveness and with the company\xe2\x80\x99s best interests at the forefront
  • Develop and follow proactive routines to help the company increase efficiency
  • Issuing parts and materials to internal and external customers
  • Respond to inventory errors immediately and take corrective action
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Source parts through multiple avenues, including reading manuals and online dashboards
  • Inform Customers on status changes for their parts
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Be available on a rotational basis to provide on call coverage within the Parts Department
  • Other duties as required
