Position Scope

NACG is looking for Parts Technicians to work at the Fort Hills location. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

Site: Fort Hills

Schedule: 14x14 (days only)

Accommodations: Camp Accommodations

Transportation: Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary.

Overtime: After 8 hours in a day or 44 hours per week.

Hourly Wage: Up to $49.84/hr

The successful candidate will be required to join the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.

Responsibilities

Order parts, parts look up and availability on site in a fast paced environment. * Organize and manage on site inventory

Class 5 licence

Clean Drivers Abstract

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman (Journeyperson) parts person ticket
• JDE experience
• ability to deal with multiple requests and various vendors
• Microsoft office proficient
• Experience with heavy equipment or medium duty parts experience

Prefer experience with SIS and other heavy equipment vendor parts software but not necessary * Forklift experience

Summary

All successful candidates must: * Be proficient in English, both verbally and written

• Have a valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
• Have experience as requested as mentioned above
• Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
• Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:

• Breath Alcohol Test
• Urine Drug Test
• Fitness-to-Work Assessment
• Audiometric Testing
• Vision Screening
• Criminal Record Check

Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.

All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date: * CSO or BSO Certification

• Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
• Copy of recent Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Abstract
• VOID cheque/direct deposit form
• Silica awareness
• Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awarness

Once dispatched the following processes will occur: * Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing

• An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
• After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.

Please note the entire On-boarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.
