As a Parts Specialist/Inside Sales at United Rentals, you will be responsible for supporting the parts department and front counter, including the maintenance of sufficient inventory levels to meet projected parts needs of customers and the branch\xe2\x80\x99s service department. You will also respond to requests from customers for rental quotes, create rental agreements and take payment. This is a permanent full time role including the following:

Additional duties include the following:

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers; acquire parts from other branches as-needed to maintain and replenish inventory
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed
• Advise Management on parts activities, future trends and matters which affect the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company
• Answer phone, email and walk in requests for rental equipment
• Create quotes, rental agreements and assist with other customer service tasks
• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record
• 2+ years of retail exposure
• Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
