We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and automotive, with experience in inventory control and customer service. This role is critical in ensuring that our parts department operates efficiently, providing excellent service to our customers while managing supplier relationships and inventory levels.
Responsibilities
Manage the procurement of automotive parts and supplies, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Utilize Order Management Systems for tracking and processing orders.
Collaborate with suppliers for pricing negotiations, sourcing, and supplier management.
Oversee shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of parts.
Support logistics operations by coordinating the movement of parts within the shop.
Requirements
Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement management within the automotive industry.
Familiarity with automotive service practices, including auto body repair would be an asset.
Experience with shipping & receiving functions.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory tracking.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
