Position Overview
The
Parts & Service Coordinator
plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Service and Parts Department. This position is responsible for coordinating service requests, supporting technicians, managing parts orders, and maintaining accurate records in our operating system. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for service inquiries from customers and internal teams.
Coordinate work orders, schedule service jobs, and communicate with shop and road technicians.
Order, track, and manage parts inventory, ensuring timely availability for service jobs.
Accurately enter and maintain records in
POR (Point of Rental)
and other company systems.
Provide clear and timely communication to customers regarding service updates, timelines, and costs.
Support the Service Manager with administrative tasks such as reports, billing, and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments (rentals, sales, logistics) to ensure smooth customer service.
Uphold CanLift's safety and quality standards in all service and parts operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a service coordination, parts, or administrative support role is an asset.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer-focused mindset.
Technology savvy
- comfortable using business systems, scheduling tools, and MS Office Suite.
Experience with
POR (Point of Rental)
is a significant asset.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
A
fast learner
who is eager to take initiative and grow within the role.
