heavy-duty mechanic shop

that services trucks, equipment, and fleets of all sizes. Our team takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and keeping customers on the road. We're looking for a dependable

Parts Runner / Shop Assistant

to support our technicians and help keep the shop organized and efficient.

Job Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver heavy-duty parts, tools, and supplies to and from vendors Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and yard area Assist mechanics with moving equipment, cleaning work areas, and general shop tasks Restock consumables (filters, oils, shop towels, fasteners, etc.) Properly handle and dispose of waste fluids and materials Help with inventory checks and tool management Perform other duties as needed to support daily operations

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a 3-year minimum clean driving record (Class 5) Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Comfortable working around trucks, heavy equipment, and shop machinery Able to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor Good communication skills and attention to detail Basic mechanical knowledge or shop experience is an asset but not required
