Job Overview

The Parts Picker/Receiver is responsible for safely receiving, unloading, inspecting, storing, preparing, and organizing materials and products to ensure that inventory is accessible and production processes run efficiently, while adhering to all safety requirements. They are also required to review/process inventory paperwork accurately when applicable and to pick parts according to the parts list. As well as maintaining their work environment clean and organized.

Job Duties

Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips. Pick parts and materials for production departments, essential to ensuring a smooth production process. Occasionally pick-up and deliver parts. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift to move products safely within the facility. Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are addressed promptly. Safely load and unload goods from trucks, unpack and store goods Organize and clean work and inventory spaces Participate in year-end inventory and do periodic inventory counts as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Valid Drivers License 2 Years of Forklift experience Excellent customer service and customer relations skills, excellent in English speaking. Interpersonal skills Knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment parts is an asset Work well within a team and independently Experience with metric & imperial measurement Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred, with a focus on order fulfillment and warehouse distribution. Familiarity with order picking processes and best practices in shipping/receiving operations. Proficiency in using basic math skills for inventory management and order processing tasks. Must have prior experience in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail Basic computer skills: data entry and keyboarding
