Parts Picker/driver
Job Description
Westrans Company is a leading remanufacturer and supplier of heavy duty truck parts. We are looking for a hard working individual to provide accurate and timely deliveries to our customers within and outside the city of Winnipeg. This position is full-time Monday to Friday.
Duties:
Picking and packing orders for customers
Loading and unloading merchandise
Meet daily pick up and drop off quotas
Drive in a safe and defensive manner at all times
Manage time effectively and get where you need to be efficiently
Physical tasks and heavy lifting is required (Up to 50lbs)
Conduct daily inspections and report any damage to management
Recording of daily mileage
Performing other warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
Valid class 5 driver's license with current drivers abstract
Previous driving experience an asset
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable attendance record
Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
Experience in the automotive/heavy duty parts industry an asset
Good organizational skills with attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
