Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers about repairs, status and approvals
Schedule units for service
In liaison with the Shop Manager, offering suggestions to customers on how best they can repair their vehicles
Communicate with the Shop manager, parts person, lead hand and mechanics to ensure prompt completion of jobs
Customer service representative for all customers, including initial writing of customer complaints, intial estimates, and staying in contact with the customers through the job process
Communicating job requirements to the Shop manager or lead hand and working with the shop for scheduling
Verifying that all labour and parts are accounted for on RO's and invoices, both commercial and internal
Communicate emergency triage requests to the lead hand
Close work orders and invoice customers when a job is complete
Utilize shop planner
Scan shop documents to repair orders
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven track record of group leadership and commitment to quality and safety
Knowledge of operating standards, policies and procedures would be helpful
Possess a thorough knowlege of heavy-duty truck parts and vehicle systems preferred
Computer literate (Windows/MS office) (TMT preferred)
Strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills
