Job Duties:

The Parts Driver is responsible for transporting automotive parts, supplies, and materials between the dealership, customers, and vendors. Their main duties include:

Main Job Duties

Pickup & Delivery: Transport automotive parts, supplies, and equipment between the dealership, customers, and vendors promptly and safely. Order Verification: Ensure that all deliveries and pickups match invoices and purchase orders. Inventory Management: Assist in checking and organizing stock when receiving or delivering parts. Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and vendors. Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition; report any maintenance needs. Route Planning: Follow the most efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and dealership policies. Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures for proof of delivery. Assistance in Parts Department: Help with stocking, organizing, and pulling parts for orders when not on deliveries. Other duties as requested by management

Successful Candidates Possess:

Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude. Customer relationship skills including listening and the ability to communicate effectively. Excellent verbal communication and writing skills. Organized and pays attention to detail. Ability to follow set and standard procedures. Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed. Ability to work independently and take self-initiative Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
