Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parts to various locations around the Greater Edmonton area, while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have a minimum of three consecutive years of driving experience, as well as a good understanding of warehouse operations.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport parts to customers and vendors. Load and unload parts, ensuring proper handling and care during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and items delivered. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. (putting away parts and other tasks) Perform heavy lifting and moving of parts as required during deliveries and warehouse tasks. (Up to 50 lbs.) Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse.

Experience

& Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred. Use of pallet jack is a requirement. At least three consecutive years of driving experience is preferred. A valid driver's license is required. A clean drivers abstract is required. Must be bondable. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Fluency in speaking and writing in English is required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers in a courteous and positive manner. Physical requirements: walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, reaching, carrying, sitting for long periods, as well as other physical movements related to loading and unloading freight, wrapping pallets, securing loads, tarping loads, putting away parts and other physical tasks including cleaning both the vehicle and helping out in the shop with cleanup during downtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.20-$22.23 per hour
