Murray Chevrolet Winnipeg is seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts between our dealership and various customers various locations while ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Skills Required:
Ability to receive instructions from dispatcher, deliver parts to customer in a timely manner while following the rules of the Highway Traffic Act
Ability to match customers' needs with appropriate parts or services
Knowledge of parts department procedures and policies
Ability to perform professionalism at all times with customers and fellow employees
Maintain a valid Driver's license and have impeccable driving record
Ability to perform proper sanitation and keep the inside of the vehicle clean
Ability to drive for long periods of time in a responsible, professional manner
Ability to perform other duties/tasks as directed by Parts Manager and dispatcher

Moderate contact with people in all dealership departments
Position Summary:
Responsible for correct delivery of all parts to customers
Responsible for all parts to be checked-off of invoice and all C.O.D's to be written on COD sheet prior to leaving department
Responsible for all C.O.D's to be turned in immediately upon return and sign parts invoices
Responsible to report any damage to the parts vehicle to the parts manager and for all traffic tickets
Follow policies and procedures as established by Parts Manager
Assists the Parts Manager and dispatcher and performs other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

Has a general understanding of automotive systems.
Must communicate clearly in person and on the phone
Is able to effectively communicate with all other departments in the dealership.
Is able to work independently, managing time and workflow.
What the Work is Like?
Involves ensuring that parts arrive, that they are the correct parts, and that those who ordered them know of their arrival.
Involves keeping the parts truck clean and no smoking inside vehicle
Involves long time periods of driving
Involves taking instructions accordingly from dispatcher
