Overview

We are currently seeking a Parts Delivery & Shuttle Driver to safely transports our clients, automotive or mechanical parts and equipment to customers and other locations, performing pre-trip vehicle inspections, route planning, and loading/unloading goods. Key responsibilities include maintaining logs, providing customer service, verifying invoices, and ensuring vehicle maintenance. Other duties include shipping/receiving and basic building maintenance. Qualifications typically include a valid driver's license, clean driving record, good communication skills, and familiarity with local routes.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and Pick-Up:

Safely deliver and pick up parts, equipment, and other items for customers, vendors, and other locations.

Vehicle Operation:

Operate company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, in a safe and courteous manner.

Logistics and Planning:

Plan efficient delivery routes, coordinate pick-ups and deliveries, and maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel costs.

Cargo Management:

Load and unload cargo, ensuring parts are properly secured and their quality is preserved during transport.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical and safety equipment is in good working order.

Documentation:

Accurately verify invoices against purchase orders and complete all required delivery documentation and records.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service, interact professionally with customers, and collect payments or obtain signatures as needed.

Key Qualifications

Valid Driver's License:

Possess a valid driver's license.

Clean Driving Record:

Maintain a clean driving abstract/record.

Customer Service Skills:

Exhibit strong verbal and written communication and exceptional customer service skills.

Route Knowledge:

Be familiar with local routes and traffic regulations.

Physical Ability:

Be able to perform tasks that involve manual handling, such as loading and unloading.
Additional Skills & Knowledge

Technology:

Proficiently use GPS navigation systems and route planning software.

Problem-Solving:

Report any incidents or problems encountered during deliveries.

Safety:

Adhere to company driving policies, procedures, and traffic laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.80 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
