CARSTAR Collision is seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join our team. The Parts Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department by overseeing various parts transactions, maintaining inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of parts transactions.

Fulfill parts and accessories accurately and efficiently.

Ensure technicians receive parts promptly and in good condition.

Keep supply and support systems up-to-date, including parts catalogs and price lists.

Manage parts inventory by coordinating with manufacturers and implementing effective monitoring procedures.

Utilize factory stock orders and return privileges to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Maintain records of failed parts for warranty

Supervise or conduct parts inventory counts and reconciliation.

Adhere to company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.

Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to lead, motivate, evaluate, develop, and direct staff effectively.

Proficiency in automotive inventory control systems.

Attention to detail in managing stock orders.

Proficient in administrative tasks and management responsibilities.

Computer literacy for inventory management and record-keeping.

High School Diploma required; additional certifications are a plus.

Familiarity with automotive parts is preferred.

Parts experience is preferred
