Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers and technicians seeking automotive or equipment parts. You will provide exceptional customer service by accurately identifying, locating, and supplying the correct parts to meet service and repair needs.

Key Responsibilities:

o Greet customers and technicians in a professional, friendly manner.

Identify parts requirements for service repairs and customer requests using catalogs, databases, and manufacturer systems. Check inventory and place orders for non-stocked or special-order items. Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for parts availability. Process parts sales via phone, email, or in-person transactions. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, orders, and inventory movements. Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control, inventory counts, and reordering. Work closely with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for scheduled jobs. Stay updated on new products, recalls, and manufacturer changes. Handle returns, warranties, and core returns according to company and supplier policies. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

o Previous experience in a parts department or service environment.

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Excellent communication and memory Good computer skills, proficient typing skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Valid driver's license is required.
