Job Summary


We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the correct parts and accessories, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. Experience in dealership operations, retail sales, and automotive repair is highly valued. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to sales and customer service.

Duties



Assist customers in identifying and selecting automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on their needs. Manage inventory levels using inventory management systems to ensure availability of parts. Process sales transactions accurately through POS systems, handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with professionalism. Maintain organized stock areas, ensuring parts are correctly labeled and stored for easy retrieval. Support order fulfillment by preparing parts for delivery or pickup, coordinating with logistics as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Engage in upselling and cross-selling of parts and accessories to increase sales opportunities. Keep up-to-date with automotive repair procedures and product knowledge to better assist customers. Assist in marketing efforts by promoting special offers or new products to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills



Prior dealership experience is preferred, along with familiarity with automotive repair processes. Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and order fulfillment software is essential. Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and documentation efficiently. Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with customers and team members; bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience in retail sales, cashiering, customer service, and sales management enhances suitability for this role. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating prices or discounts. Effective negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Phone etiquette skills for professional communication over the phone or via email. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
