The Role



We're looking for an energetic, curious, and relationship-driven Partnerships Manager who wants to make a real impact.

In this role, you'll identify, initiate, and grow relationships that support corporate participation, sponsorship, and partnerships across our portfolio of high-profile events. You'll own your sales plan end-to-end -- from prospecting and discovery through to closing, stewardship, and renewal -- while working closely with our marketing, operations, and content teams to deliver a seamless experience for partners.

This is a high-engagement, relationship-based sales role that rewards discipline, empathy, and a genuine desire to understand the buyer's perspective and sell meaningful value.

What You'll Do



Build and execute a clear sales plan to meet weekly, monthly, and annual revenue targets Proactively prospect and engage new corporate partners through outbound outreach, meetings, and research Develop compelling value propositions aligned with partner goals and community impact Manage a high volume of sales activity including calls, emails, meetings (virtual and in-person), proposals, contracts, and reporting Collaborate closely with internal teams to stay aligned to timelines, deliverables, and partner expectations Steward long-term relationships to drive renewals, referrals, and repeat participation Maintain accurate CRM records and a healthy, transparent sales pipeline

Qualifications & Experience



5+ years' experience in B2B sales, partnerships, account management, stakeholder engagement, media sales, sponsorship, or related roles Proven ability to qualify prospects, build relationships, and gain commitment Experience executing outbound sales campaigns and managing a full sales cycle Comfortable managing a high volume of activity across calls, emails, meetings, and proposals Proficient using a CRM to manage pipeline and activity (HubSpot preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and decision-makers Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience selling sponsorships, exhibits, advertising, or media is a strong asset Understanding of, or affinity with, Indigenous economies, businesses, and communities is highly valued

Eligibility & Requirements
