• Mentor, coach and develop the next generation of leaders
• Champion the growth, management and development of our Private Company Practice for our Manitoba Business Unit
• Actively contribute to the office business plan, in collaboration with the business unit, service line, community, and firm
• Make a meaningful impact with clients and colleagues across Canada. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with GT Canada Tax Partners; as well as, Partners across all service lines, sub-service lines, sectors (Assurance, Advisory, Tax) and geography to provide a menu of options aimed at optimizing the entirety of a client\'s business value

Key Requirements Education Completion of Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Economics, Business, Law, Finance, Taxation and/or an Accounting Designation, JD/LLB or LLM or related field. Certified Professional Accountants Designation and related professional training. Experience and Attributes

• 10+ years\' experience in public accounting or related industry
• Significant tax planning and compliance experience including an in-depth understanding of Canadian Corporate taxation matters
• Demonstrated experience growing a practice and business development which focuses on development of relationships and actively anticipating client and market needs
• Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to be an active participant in the development of the tax team
• Develop solutions with clients and co-workers through collaborative effort and discussion
• Commitment to quality, excellence and continual professional growth for yourself and for those you lead
• Excellent written, and verbal communication skills, including exceptional interpersonal skills to earn the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues at all levels and influence decision-makers
• Desire to learn and grow, and be an integral part of a team that puts "we before me", where flexibility is a mindset, and where you trust your colleagues to have your back
