Veritas Psychotherapy and Counselling

is currently seeking part-time therapists to provide individual and/or couples therapy. This is an Independent Contractor position located in-person in Huntsville, ON and virtual. The successful candidate would need to be available to attend in-person shifts at our office.

Job Summary

We are looking for a warm, approachable and client-centered therapist to join our group practice. Experience working with couples or multiple populations is an asset.

Provide individual and/or couples counselling (and/or other mental health) services for clients with a wide range of issues Manage your administrative records and maintain required clinic documentation Follow operational procedures and processes

There are many different shifts available including:

In-person and possibly virtual, days, evenings, and/or weekends.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

Is registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario Holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline Additional training in working with trauma or a willingness to obtain such training is an asset Demonstrates knowledge of multiple treatment modalities Comfort level with basic technology and ability to follow operational procedures Available for in person shifts at the specified office Possesses valid Professional Liability and Commercial Liability Insurance.
