We are looking for dedicated and dynamic High School Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidates should be passionate about fostering student growth, possess strong communication skills, and have experience working with adolescents. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, supporting diverse learners, and creating a positive classroom environment that encourages academic excellence and personal development.

Duties

Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as Mathematics, Sciences, Social Sciences,& English, Utilize classroom experience and teaching skills to create an engaging learning environment. Incorporate technology tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to enhance instructional delivery. Provide tutoring and additional support to students needing extra assistance, including those with special education needs or disabilities. Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Manage classroom behavior using strong organizational and leadership skills to foster a respectful learning environment. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and curriculum changes. Collaborate with colleagues on school initiatives and participate in school events as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Math, or related field; teaching certification preferred. Prior classroom experience working with high school students is essential. Strong communication skills, including writing skills and the ability to work effectively with children and young adults. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for lesson planning and reporting purposes. Experience with computer skills relevant to educational technology tools. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, including students with special education needs. Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
